About Us
Michael DesJardins is the Managing Shareholder and Founder of DesJardins Law. Since 1986, he has successfully represented clients across a broad spectrum of litigation, including business, real estate, personal injury, and employment law.
Michael’s legal journey began at Marquette University Law School, where he served as a member of the Law Review. Upon earning his Juris Doctorate in 1986, he was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy, serving as a Lieutenant in the Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps. During his service at Naval Air Station North Island and the Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, he provided counsel to SEAL teams and aviation squadrons, litigating numerous courts-martial and administrative hearings.
This unique combination of military and civilian trial experience gives Michael uncommon insight into the legal process. He believes that the wisest course of action is often the one that keeps a party out of court; by leveraging his decades of experience, he helps clients navigate legal analysis and strategic planning to avoid litigation whenever possible.
